Casual Take on Colour Blocking
If you are a regular follower of our blog you may notice this is my second take on the current trend known as colouring blocking. This is how we turn something urban such as a trend into the rural classics. Pairing bold colours or prints with more neutral tones such as metallics (like my flats) or beiges (deeper brown seen in my cross body bag) it helps to tone down brights from overwhelming your outfit.

Clothing Items: Grey sweater by Forever 21, pink and white striped shorts by American Eagle, bag was found in my grandparents garage, and shoes by Costa Blanca.

Hope you enjoy!

Baby Shower Chic

Sorry to our readers for our neglect to the blog recently. I'll be posting a bunch today to catch up for all that's been missed. Here's a twist on some street style.
My mother and neighbor recently attended a summer baby shower. Here's a snap of what they wore.
My mother is styling a hot pink mini dress and floral blazer. Two popular trends this season. Bright colours always welcome summer, but hot bright colours are super in this particular season. Especially neons, colours such as lime green, orange and turquoise.
My mothers blazer was a birthday present from me, because there's nothing more than florals that I love this season. I picked it up at a local boutique in my town called So Many Books, So Little Time. They specialize in fashionable matured clothing, cute handbags, and accessories.

Remember to always think chic because you'll never know if we'll catch you on the street!

Street Style: The Tale of Two Countries

A belated Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canadians who partied in the haute hot weather this past weekend and a Happy Fourth of July to any American readers today! Found this outrageous outfit thrifting; originally was an XL mens long sleeve button down that I transformed into a summery tunic by snipping off the sleeves, belting with a patriotic blue patent belt, royal blue gladiators found at Winners, my classic gold Michael Kors watch and my nifty new Ray Ban optical glasses

Patriotic gear is always in style just like our pride for our nations. Here are some top picks to try out this summer!
